• Account & Contact Information: If you create an account to sync your projects across devices, we collect your email address and any account credentials you provide. If you contact us for support, we will store your contact information and the content of your message to assist you.
• Your Renovation Content: When you create projects with Renovaar, we store all content you add to your journal, including before/after photos, timeline updates, material and expense records, room-organized notes, and any other data you input to document your progress. This is the core content of your renovation story, and we only use this content to provide our service to you.
• Non-Personal Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data to help us improve Renovaar, including information about how you interact with features like the interactive before-and-after slider, search and filters, and project dashboard. This data is never linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide, maintain, and improve Renovaar, specifically:

• To deliver core Renovaar features: storing your projects, syncing your data across devices, organizing your timeline, enabling interactive before-and-after comparison, and keeping your notes structured by room type.
• To improve our service: debugging issues, optimizing search and filter functionality, and adding new features that align with how our users plan and document their renovations.
• To protect the security of your account and our service, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations.
• To communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, or respond to your support requests.

We will never use your personal photos or private project content for any commercial purposes without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or private renovation content with any third parties for their marketing purposes. We only share your information in limited, necessary circumstances:

• Export a full copy of all your renovation data, including all photos, notes, and expense records, at any time.
• Delete your entire account and all associated content permanently at any time.

5. Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, we work continuously to keep your data safe.

We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account with Renovaar. If you delete your account or specific content, we will delete your data from our active systems within a reasonable period of time, and may retain residual copies only as required by law or for legitimate backup purposes.
